UNL Education Abroad Scholarship

Christian Lieding Scholarship and Fellowship Program

 

Overview

The goal of the Christian Lieding Scholarship and Fellowship Program is to encourage exchange between the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and foreign institutions, especially German or German-speaking universities.  Funding is available for UNL students participating in study abroad programs, and for foreign students who wish to study at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Approximately 30-35 awards per year

Maximum Award

Summer $2,000
Semester $2,500
Year $5,000

 

Qualifications

  1. UNL undergraduate and graduate students, as well as incoming exchange students, are welcome to apply.
  2. Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or equivalent.
  3. Priority will be given to exchanges with Germany and German-speaking countries, but students studying abroad in or coming to UNL from a wide range of countries are encouraged to apply.
